Rice and Hearts of Palm [serves 4 people]

2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion finely chopped
3 minced garlic cloves
9 oz shredded Mozarella (or your favorite cheese that melts)
3 cups cooked rice
1 small can of sweet corn (rinsed, drained)
1 tbs corn starch
1 cup cream
1 25 oz hop, sliced 1/2 inch diagonal pieces
salt, and pepper to taste
2 tsp Pimenton "smoked paprika from Spain" optional
3 tbs chopped parsely
7 oz smoked ham optional

Add olive oil to pan, sautee onions till softened, add garlic till golden, add corn, cream, hop, corn starch, ham, mix. Let it come to boil once then remove.
In a baking dish place half your rice on the bottom, then half the mixure, half the parsely, then half the cheese, repeat for the next layer. Bake 325 degrees, 20 minutes.
